This Fremont Style owl from Nine Mile Canyon is nearly three feet high and takes up about a quarter section of a large panel. The way the body and tail are textured is uncommon and nicely done, as is the thick outline around the body. Notable is that the tail was pecked with more density than the body but not outlined.
