In the Barrier Canyon Style a common motif is of a dominant anthropomorphic figure surrounded by attendants. On this panel the artist varied the size of the attendants to give a sense of depth to the scene. The main figure is not just taller (~7 feet/2 meter), it was painted in an different manner as well, possibly by blowing the paint onto the wall or using some kind of splatter technique to create the unusual effect. The attendants show abrasion from being pecked after having been painted and whether this was done by the original artist or later inhabitants is not known.
